Anyone Can Carry Ten Pounds of Crystals and Stones Around, but How to Use Crystals for Real Magic?
Short and sweet, to the point.
Passive crystal mysticism has been a major spiritualist trend for 40 or more years now. The craze around crystals just kept peaking every decade until very recently, when it might have declined slightly.
This according to someone I know who is in the metaphysical stone and crystal business.
There are hundreds or thousands of people in every town in America walking around with "rocks", meaning stones and crystals, in their pockets, purse, or little drawstring bags they tote about. Many people also wear jewelry made with metaphysical stones.
The idea of course, is that by carrying minerals that emanate this or that property, a person can absorb the trait to their benefit. At the very least the energy field of the crystal is supposed to generate the benefits of the desired trait while carried or worn.
All good. I am one of those people.
However I do not settle for the passive mystical method of carrying stones and hoping for the best. This is a thing I do, but more often than not I am actively using my minerals for magical work.
How Do You Put Crystals to Work?
It's actually very simple. And crazy.
I'm not going to tell you the crystals and stones in your pocket are alive, and that they have spirits. That would be ridiculous.
I'm just going to tell you to act as if they are alive. You see? You don't even need to believe it, just conduct business as if it were the case.
As you are a body, mind, and energetic matrix, so too a crystal or gemstone has a physical, mental, and energetic makeup . The crystal is a tripart entity with agency, even if this is only a construct you project.
The Interface
You can connect with a crystal physically by touching, holding, wearing, or gazing.
You can make a mental connection through intention.
Your energetic matrix or subtle anatomy interacts with the crystals subtle energy when you are in proximity with it, touching it, or thinking about it (even at distance).
Your Will is the Driver and Director
Once you are connected to the crystal you have access to its properties, which you can direct with your will. Do this by verbal commands, silent or otherwise, or by imagining and visualizing the desired effects on your person, on another, or on the condition of reality you wish to affect.
If you want black tourmaline to clear and ground your seven chakras, tell it to do so. Walk through the process in your mind as you wear the stone on a pendant.
If you wish to manifest with blue apatite, hold a piece and visualize the reality you want forming from the light of the astral plane and becoming true.
If you seek the balancing of the brain's hemispheres offered by Sodalite, gaze upon a sodalite sphere and feel the crown chakra; imagine the hemispheres of your brain harmonizing, and dwell in the crown chakra to experience this.
None of this is difficult. If you are in an altered, magical state of consciousness as discussed here you will find it straightforward.
Is what I am saying crazy? It's batshit nuts.
It's also real, or the strata of reality in which we live behaves as if it is true.
Results matter. The how of it all may remain elusive.
