What the heck does that mean? I normally try to stay away from the somewhat vague but commonly used terms for dealing with one's energy field.
I actually try not to say "energy field" that often and generally steer away from talking about a person and his or her "energy" in those exact, simplified terms.
People like to say "it's all energy" and then immediately pretend like only some of it really is.
In other words the woo brigade speaks about one's energy and maybe the chakras and aura as if that's the whole shebang. Often times they seem to neatly forget about the physical body or just don't like to admit that it's present.
I like the term Personal Energetic Matrix - I did a quick search and I have used that here before so all good there. This invented proper noun of mine is a handy way of referring to or discussing at some length "your energy" and it consists of all of you.
The mind that perceives this content.
The body that gives your mind a ride wherever it wants to go.
Your chakras and the energy paths or meridians that connect them.
Your aura, consisting of many layers with each chakra emanating one complete auric layer.
These layers are, or are adjacent to the "energy bodies" of the western occultist.
Your PEM (Personal Energetic Matrix) is ALL of this and more. It is the matrix of systems of energy that give you your being, or that you have your being within, whichever angle is best for you.
The PEM is the energy that powers your link to magic or that produces psychic effort. It is central to ESP, elemental magic, and your general state of mind and body, your wellness, focus, stability, and all else.
That's not what this post is about of course so I shall shut up about most of that now and get back on track.
Your aura is part of the PEM and it's the field or fields of "energy" that connects you to the energetic frequencies and fields of the world around you.
Through the aura you receive vibrations that help you sense the unseen or know what your partner is feeling or thinking. The aura helps you communicate with spirits and channel elemental frequencies.
You therefore want it to be refined, in good flux or cyclic order, and streamlined.
In Tai Chi and Qi Gong they "flatten" and "smooth" the chi on the front or back of the body. This is surely dealing with the auric field.
Think about "smoothing out" your aura as just what it sounds like, however ridiculous. Once you do it, you will likely feel the difference.
We can keep it simple for now and just say these are the kinds of exercises that keep your energy stable, healthy, and makes it easier to do mystical and magical work. There is much more that can be said to specify things but I won't be saying any of that in this moment.
